This evening of discussion and story telling will be held at the East Bay Center for the Blind, at 2928 Adeline Street in Berkeley on January 10, 2015 -- click here for Google map.
The East Bay Center for the Blind is on the west side of Adeline, half a block north of Ashby. It is about one block north of the Ashby BART Station.
To reach the Center by BART, exit the station to the right (west) and turn right (north) when you reach the curb. Walk for about 100 feet until you reach a flight of steps leading up.
Take the steps and follow them through some turns until you reach street level. Exit toward the street (Adeline) and turn left. Walk to the corner (approximately 200 feet) and cross Ashby.
Note: This crossing is a little complex. you must first cross a right-hand-turn lane to an island where the audible pedestrian signals are located. The APS indicators can be used to align to the Ashby crosswalk.
After crossing Ashby, continue north half a block to the Center (2928 Adeline) on the left. There will be some obvious auditory cues on the evening of the event.
